Solutions is an online platform focused on specialized medical care launched as an option to high demand due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Allowing users to have complete medical consultations with specialized doctors and health professionals from the comfort of home.
OBJECTIVE
Design an easy-to-use interface (possible one page) focused on medical appointment management/process, cross-communication and general related information. The application has two different access points (doctor/patient) and must cover the aspects required by each user.
For the design, I reference other projects to achieve a unique color mix that is in line with the general line used for visuals in the medical field (white, blue, and green). Also, added light color variations for more application options and to achieve contrast and separation of elements.
I focused a lot on applying color hierarchy to the information to have a clearer order when user reading and tried to make the overall design look as clean and direct as possible.
I tried to keep the same visual design structure for both flows by spreading the content on two sides (left/right). Left the internal navigation menus visible for easy navigation on the platform and relied heavily on icons to support reading. Also, I put the informative content in boxes to facilitate the organization of elements and adaptability to other devices.
Online interviews focused on the flow of actions, possibilities and desire for service, and user needs.
Card Sorting through Maze application to measure service importances, content hierarchy and actions.
Interactive prototype (low resolution) focused on navigation, positioning and demonstration.
Desk research was carried out to perform benchmarks in relation to services, technologies and actions.
