Diamante Perú is a family jewelry store founded by Mr. Gerardo Zela, the first Peruvian Gemologist at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). The company has always aimed to educate people about this fascinating world of diamonds to avoid negative experiences. Currently, it is one of the most prestigious jewelry stores in Peru.

OBJECTIVE

Design the website interface, which should be focused on the display of engagement rings and jewelry (not a store). As a secondary objective, it was necessary to achieve a simple navigation and flow that separates and orders the company information provided by the client.

To consider: ideas and proposals from the client, and the budget.

I wanted to capture a clean design using white as a base color and a mix of calligraphic and static-style fonts to give it an elegant touch.

Also, I focused on the jewelry display and the retouching of background images to regulate the contrasts with the background. Finally, I applied a shade of gray for more application options and to separate content, leaving the black color for buttons and other visual details.

The structure and positioning of items was mainly divided into two variable columns (left/right).

By not having much information (text or visual content) I relied on the use of boxes to gain space and organize the content, and for the backgrounds I applied textures or images with filters to reduce empty spaces.
