La Casita Azul is a small lodging located on Las Pocitas Beach, in the District of Máncora, north of the department of Piura. Staying at La Casita Azul is an unforgettable experience where you can enjoy sunrises, sunsets, and lunches in front of the sea and above all the restful sleep lulled by the noise of the waves.
I was presented with the opportunity to design the logo and corporate identity of the brand.
The objective was to create a design that denotes modernity (young target audience) and that matches the environment/atmosphere of the lodge and its locations.
For the logo creation, I referred to palm trees, a characteristic vegetation that abounds in the area and symbolizes the beach or summer.
I also selected the colors based on the paint color applied to the place/local facilities to give a more marked visual line, and I used a shade of blue to give it more dynamism and more application options.
The layout of the branding printed material was quite clean. Although it was proposed to use a third color (sand) to further highlight the “beach” concept and generate more design proposals, the client insisted on using white as the base background color to give a little more of the “hotel” feeling the company seeks to transmit to its clients.
